At the end of March I travelled down to Brighton on what turned out to be a clear but chilly day. It was Nicola and Nathan’s wedding day and they were going for a vintage look for their wedding day. It was a beautiful wedding and I could really sense the closeness and excitement from their wedding guests. Nicola looked fabulous (and of course Nathan too!) and both, they and their guests, were a pleasure to photograph!
Nicola and Nathan were very kind to send me a very sincere ‘Thank You’ letter after seeing their wedding photographs. They wrote …. “We just wanted to express our sincere thanks for the amazing job you did at our wedding day. The photos are superb and really tell the story of our day. You captured everything and everybody so beautifully and we are so grateful to you for photos that we’ll treasure forever.”
“To begin with it was really odd to be the focus of a large camera lens’ attention, but you made us feel so comfortable by how kind, funny and easy you were with us. You managed to get fantastic pictures of everyone (especially “difficult to photograph” people!). Brighton looks wonderful in the set – in some photos it almost looks like Paris – and we are particularly fond of the photos taken in the grounds of the Pavilion.”
“We were going for a real vintage aesthetic for our day and the photos really capture that too – many people have commented on how the light and composition of many of the photos, especially those showing Nicola arriving at the registry office in our little car, make it seem as if they’re actual photos from the 50′s or 60′s!”
“In short, thank you so much Rob. We’ll treasure them forever and can’t thank you enough for the fantastic job you did.” Nicola & Nathan
